Mermaid Garden – Fabric Book
Two Classes - Feb 19 and April 1, 2026
Explore this underwater “Mermaid Garden” with Susan as you learn many embellishing techniques and hand embroidery techniques. There will be appliqué with hand embroidery finishes and 3-D stitches to create textures for each page of your fabric book. Stamping on fabric for a design which will be stitched and highlighted using Crayons! The First class will focus on the Mermaid Tail cover page. And the second class will focus on the underwater scene with fish and seaweed, beading and more!
Northern Lights Wool Painting

Have you ever dreamed of seeing the splendor of the Aurora Borealis in person? This is the next best thing to a Scandinavian vacation! Join Jennifer Costa for this exciting exploration of needle-felting techniques. The class will cover the basics of landscape needle felting as well as more advanced concepts as we create “layers” of sky and uncover the Aurora Borealis (Northern Lights).
Pastel Beginnings and Beyond

Whether you’re new to the amazing medium of soft pastel (not oil pastel), or you’d like to experiment with more creative techniques in pastel, this is the workshop for you!
For artists new to the medium you’ll learn about the best materials and methods to get you up to speed to creating successful paintings.
For those artists who have experience in pastel, you’ll get try other art media that compliment pastel, and new exciting ways to use them to express your artistic ideas.
Spring Blooms: A Colored Pencil Workshop

Join artist Lisa Albinus for a three-hour colored pencil workshop focused on creating a soft spring floral in pinks, creams, and greens. Students will work from a provided line drawing, learning layering and blending techniques to bring their flower to life. This class is designed to build confidence with colored pencils without requiring a large supply list or advanced drawing skills. All levels are welcome.

A beginner-friendly, hands-on introduction to Procreate focused on true, hand-drawn digital art—not AI. Students will learn the Procreate interface, brushes, layers, masking, color tools, and export options while completing a guided illustration and turning it into a professional-quality digital sticker.
