My name is Kayla Merie Bayne, I'm a local artist to Downtown Concord. I spend most of my time with my boys, but anytime I get a free moment - I love to create ✨️ 

I work with several mediums depending on my current project, but my favorites are ceramics, watercolor, paper art, resin and wood burning. 

The demonstration I will be providing is a wood burning technique on a 3-dimensional sculpture, using mixed media (i.e., wood, glue, paint).

The sculpture will already be prepared on its base using glue, and the demonstration itself will focus on the wood burning techniques used to finish the piece. 

After this demonstration, you should have the basic skills to get started burning designs too!
