Topic: AI Integration in Creative Workflows

Presenter: Josh King

Josh King is a creative producer, storyteller, and multimedia artist with more than two decades of experience in broadcast television, design, 3D modeling, motion graphics, documentary production, animation, and long-form storytelling.

 A retired U.S. Army First Sergeant, and creative producer in Mecklenburg County’s Public Information Department, Josh brings disciplined leadership along with innovative strategic thinking to every creative project that he leads. Over the course of his career Josh has received various recognition for his work including two Emmy Awards for excellence in visual storytelling and production.

 A lifelong learner, Josh recently earned the Certificate for Applied Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, deepening his understanding of large language models and practical AI implementation.

 To enhance efficiency in his work, Josh actively integrates AI into creative workflows—using it for concept development, visual prototyping, automation pipelines, and scalable content production. He is a firm believer that AI should be viewed as a force multiplier in the modern creative landscape, and not a replacement for talent or creativity.
