Painting Florals on Yupo Paper
Paint loose, experimental florals with acrylic paint! Working with Yupo paper, a synthetic material, students will learn the basics of color theory and composition while exploring materials and additive and subtractive methods.

Materials Cost: No additional material cost, and Yupo paper will be provided. A supply list will be sent via email at the time of registration.

Description
Learn how to paint loose, experimental florals with acrylic paint! Working with Yupo paper, a synthetic material, students will learn the basics of color theory and composition while exploring materials and additive and subtractive methods. This workshop is perfect for beginners or more advanced students who are looking to try something new. All students will walk away with one completed floral piece.
Rachel Siminoski is a painter based in Huntersville, NC. Siminoski has recently exhibited her work in the Cain Center for the Arts in Cornelius, NC, Studio Break Gallery in Chicago, IL, as well as The Canopy Studio in NYC as a 2024-2025 Canopy Program cohort member. Other group exhibitions include Greensboro Project Space in Greensboro, NC; Main Street Gallery in Clifton Springs, NY; and GreenHill Center for NC Art in Greensboro, NC.
