I would like to thank the Stanly Arts Guild and everyone at the Falling Rivers Gallery in Albemarle, NC for hosting a fantastic reception and awards ceremony on 4/11/15. In addition, a very sincere "thank you" to the Gaskin brothers, Jeff, Chuck, David, Bob and Paul for sponsoring the 7th annual Ellen Cook Gaskin Memorial Art Show "Nature At It's Best" awards and to the Uwharrie Bank of Stanly for the honorable mention awards. Last but certainly not least I would like to thank the show judge, Beth Goldston for all of her comments about my piece "Geological Wonderland". Malia Bryngelson had one of her paintings accepted to be included in the North Carolina Statewide juried pastel exhibition "On Common Ground 2015, Pastel Paintings from the Mountains to the Sea" to be held in Greensboro, North Carolina.
