Welcome to the Cabarrus Art Guild

The mission of the Cabarrus Art Guild is to bring together artists and art enthusiasts from Cabarrus and surrounding counties for art education, to share information about art, and exposure to original works of art.  We do this through our various programs, events, talks and classes.  Our various programs are open to all, whether you are an amateur or professional, if you dabble or sell your work.  We welcome you to join the Cabarrus Art Guild and share in our common interests and the wonder of creativity.

The Cabarrus Art Guild is happy to announce:

Annual Spring Judged Art Show 2025

Members and non-members (from Cabarrus and its contiguous counties) are invited to participate.

If you create 2D or 3D art, we welcome you to submit your work for this Judged event!

All pieces submitted will be judged. There are two categories, each with their own awards.

Awards for 2D Art

• 1st Place:  $200.00

• 2nd Place:  $150.00

• 3rd Place:  $100.00

• (2 Awarded) Honorable Mention:  $50.00

Awards for 3D Art

• 1st Place:  $200.00

• 2nd Place:  $150.00

• 3rd Place:  $100.00

• (2 Awarded) Honorable Mention:  $50.00

The Intake for this show is Saturday, May 03, 2025 10am-2pm, at the ClearWater Arts Center & Studios 223 Crowell Street NW, Concord (Use main entrance on Crowell Street).

Notable Notes

We are excited to announce that entering the Cabarrus Art Guild’s Spring Judged Art Show is even more convenient!

• Intake: May 03, 2025, 10am-2pm

• Walk-in registrations/payment are no longer accepted

• Pre-registration and pre-payment are required via our convenient online entry form and online payment.

• Email the Guild if you wish to register/pay by check via US Mail (cabarrusartguild@gmail.com)

• At Intake, all you do is show up with your labeled artwork, confirm your entry form and payment and you are done!

• 2D art submitted cannot be larger than 36 inches on one side, making room for more art

• Take down:  June 28, 2025, 12pm-4pm

The Guild is thrilled to bring you the opportunity to enter our show and share your work and maybe even win a ribbon!

Come join us for our Opening Reception!

Opening Reception on Sunday, May 04 at 2pm at ClearWater Arts Center & Studios, 223 Crowell Street NW, Concord (main entrance on Crowell Street). Winners will be announced and light refreshments will be served. Come and meet local artists and join us in celebrating their artwork.

Cabarrus Art Guild Partnering with

Cabarrus Boys and Girls Club

The Cabarrus Art Guild is delighted to announce that we are working with the Boys and Girls Club of Cabarrus County to provide instruction in creativity and art.

We have volunteer opportunities for those interested in reaching out and expanding the world of art to the young people of our community. The Guild will arrange to have instructors set up after school classes at the Boys and Girls Club facility in Concord.  Classes can be 45 minutes or longer in length. All grade levels, K-12 are in need of opportunities.

The Guild will provide a small financial stipend for materials or time, if requested. 

This new outreach program has just begun in 2024, and we have already conducted some terrific art sessions.
